Welcome to the DCU Center Convention Center!
As an exhibitor at an event at our facility, we hope to make your visit as smooth as possible.
First, please make sure you have all the information you will need from your Event Manager. Date and time of move in and move out; door to access to move in; service order forms; etc. Each Event Manager has specific requirements for registration, number of vendors permitted, parking options (if applicable), etc.
Once you have this information, there are certain tips that will make your time at the facility effortless. But please note that each event may or may not provide the services listed here. The specifics can only be obtained from your Event Manager.
Prior to Arrival: Event forms are available for ordering services at your booth location. By ordering in advance, you will receive your services earlier than those who order on site. Also, there is an additional charge to order services on site. All services can be ordered via INFOR. Payment is required at the time of ordering. If you need additional information, please contact info@dcucenter.com and your inquiry will be directed to the appropriate person to contact you.
Services which may be available include:
- Electrical service
- Enhanced WiFi - On site free WiFi for attendees is a low band width and utilized by all attendees. Enhanced WiFi provides dedicated WiFi and/or enhanced band width for streaming or wired service.
- Water/drainage
- Porter Service – Assistance unloading and loading equipment (limited availability based on event)
- Housekeeping Service
- Food/Beverage/Catering Service – No food or beverage may be brought into the facility.
All events do not necessarily provide for all services. If you have a specific request, please contact us at info@dcucenter.com.
Upon Arrival: Each event has designated move in Doors which should be provided by your Event Manager. Below is a map of the facility with Door numbers listed. Make sure to arrive to the correct door to minimize the time required to move in.
After unloading your equipment, your vehicle must be removed to a parking lot in the surrounding area. Parking information and directions are located here.
Most events require a check in at this point to confirm that you have arrived and to receive any on site information. Depending on the event, services can sometimes be ordered at this time though we highly recommend advance ordering. A service table will be available on site for any questions or concerns you may have about your pre-ordered services.
Please remember that there is no security on site for any equipment that you may chose to leave in your booth areas. Items of concern should be removed from the building on a nightly basis.
Load Out: For the safety of all individuals, load out may not begin until the published end time of the event. Certain events have pre-determined process for move out procedures. Please make sure to check with your event producer regarding this process.
All items left on site after the event will be assumed as trash. Please make sure to load out all of your items. Any bulk items left on site will be removed at a cost and billed to the event producer. Any food stuffs may be donated to local food shelters through a facility program. Please contact the service desk upon your arrival if you will have food stuffs available at the end of the program that you would like to have donated. Facility staff will load out these items on your behalf and coordinate the donation with local shelters. Please note that these should be pre-packaged, unopened items only.
